İpek Erden

İpek Erden has been in the film industry since 2010, taking various roles in many major productions, both local and international, such as Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011), The Two Faces of January Ali and NinoNever Leave Me and digital platform series The Protector and Love 101. In 2017, she undertook the task of international communication and coordination of the Antalya Film Festival. Ipek founded her production company Vayka Film in 2018. She was selected as a producer to the Sarajevo Talents programme 2020 and EAVE Producers Workshop 2023.

She took on the line producer role for the feature film Aftersun (2022), which won the French Jury Prize as part of the competition of Semaine de la Critique – Cannes Film Festival. Vayka Film’s first feature film A Guide to Living for the Dead, which was selected to the Frontières Platform as part of Marché du Film 2022 – Cannes Film Festival, has premiered in Istanbul Film Festival in 2023. Her most recent work, currently in post-production, Nothing In Its Place has received the World Cinema Fund and Jeonju Cinema Project award from Jeonju Film Festival. And, she is currently working on a new project called Fragments of This Beauty has been selected to FiDLab as part of FIDMarsille in 2023 and CoProduction Market as part of Berlinale 2024.
